What do you recommend as far as OTC products for cleaning e-rings? Mine is white gold, diamond if that matters. Getting engagement pics taken in a few weeks and want to make sure the ring sparkles :)

I was wondering if any of you took a visit WITH your SO to check out engagement rings, if you just *hinted* at what you liked or if they just took a shot & got you what they thought you'd like best.
